For the Global Human Resources department in our company State Street Bank International GmbH in Munich we are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter (m/f) – Job ID R-590246.

The Talent Acquisition (TA) function at State Street is the internal department dedicated to identifying and managing the optimum sourcing channels for Talent across the State Street organisation. The Talent Acquisition Specialist / Recruiter is responsible for the recruitment and onboarding support of qualified professionals and senior hires.

Major Responsibilities

  • Being the first point of contact and partner for hiring managers on day-to-day internal and external recruitment activity in different legal entities within Germany, Austria and Switzerland
  • Proactively working with hiring managers to understand their recruitment needs, formulating recruitment plans and delivering against same in line with business demands
  • Consulting/advising the hiring managers on the market conditions; selecting the best methods of attracting candidates and reducing the time to hire
  • Ensuring relevant authorisation/approval is provided for all open roles before starting to actively hire
  • Advising/coaching hiring managers on recruitment policies & procedures, external best practice, selection processes, competency frameworks, and interview techniques in line with the State Street corporate policies
  • Researching innovative recruitment strategies and developing creative solutions to generate high quality candidates
  • Ensuring all Intranet/Internet job posting details are constantly updated and correct
  • Sourcing and identifying candidates directly through innovative advertising, direct search, social media and other sources as well as conducting interviews via phone, videoconference and face to face
  • Coordinate all communication with candidates at every stage of the recruitment process
  • Supporting the business with hiring decisions, advising on and negotiating employment offers
  • Collaborating with several works councils in relation to TA related processes like hires, internal transfers, contract extensions, etc.
  • Building relationships and networking professionally with candidates, hiring managers, TA team members and the wider Global Human Resources (GHR) community including the GHR Service Center and other GHR stakeholders
  • Assist TA Coordinators with tasks associated to candidate onboarding
  • Driving all recruitment activities through the State Street Human Resources system Workday and being responsible for timely recruiting with high accuracy and detail orientation, ensuring pro-active follow up on administrative details and outstanding items to minimize risk and adhere to existing policies and procedures
  • Supporting local, regional (EMEA) and global TA and GHR related project work
  • Promoting GHR related change initiatives and supporting in a fast paced, very dynamic, virtual, and multicultural envoronment
  • Providing business specific management information on request, both quantitative and qualitative

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Economics, Banking, Information Technology or similar educational background
  • Several years of experience as Recruiter, preferably within an international fast-paced matrix environment with the experience of high volume recruiting and managing multiple searches simultaneously
  • Ideally experience in collaborating with internal works councils
  • Experience in recruiting Financial Services/Banking professionals as well as with advanced search and sourcing techniques, direct searches and social media beneficial
  • Very strong IT affinity with strong MS-Office knowledge (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint), additional strong Workday knowledge highly beneficial
  • Proficient English and German skills in order to communicate effectively with stakeholders on all levels, additional European languages beneficial
  • Pro-active team player with ability to build internal and external relationships and to network
  • Self starter with independent, hands-on, structured, and solution oriented way of working
  • High attention to detail and ability to take initiative and suggest ideas for improvements
  • Adaptable in approach and work style to changing demands within a complex fast-paced matrix environment
  • Strong time management skills and sense of urgency, abilty to prioritize, organize and meet deadlines
  • Ability to exercise discretion and high confidentiality when handling sensitive information and personal data
