The successful candidate must be a strong, decisive, results oriented individual who can develop and manage relationships across the IT and multiple corporate function teams.

Job Description

Major responsibilities

  • Manage a team of business analysts located locally and remotely
  • Work closely with IT vendors across the organization
  • Proactively interview, communicate and collaborate with business teams to analyze information needs as well as functional requirements; deliver the business requirements and/or agile stories as well as the supported business process descriptions
  • Serves as advocate for business area regarding system needs and enhancement requests
  • Support the entire system project life cycle, Waterfall and Agile
  • Monitoring the creation and update of project documentation
  • Status reporting on assigned tasks
  • Coordinate the  knowledge transfer to business users of new capabilities
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Successfully completed Bachelor and/or Master degree in Finance or Information Technology
  • Several years of Financial Services experience including  Corporate Finance and Regulatory Reporting
  • Ability to research industry regulations when necessary and to interact with Senior Management
  • Proficiency in German and English
  • Strong written, communication, and presentation skills, including the ability to liaise with and influence senior subject matter experts
  • Ability to influence senior management, through both personal interactions as well as the creation and delivery of presentations
  • Strong analytical and solid time management skills, able to prioritize, to multi task and work within tight deadlines
  • Ability to solve problems, develop alternative approaches to problems, and resolve conflicts
  • Ability to demonstrate sense of ownership and accountability for work
  • Teamwork and collaboration-orientated with very good interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment as well as to ensure accuracy and quality
