Job Description

For the Chief Administration Office department in our company State Street Bank International GmbH in Munich we are looking for an Outsourcing Oversight Manager (m/f) – Job ID R-574218.

Thr role is responsible for operational oversight of all State Street Bank International GmbH (SSBI) delegated activities within the operating model including Service Level Agreement (SLA) tracking and oversight of corporate functions as well asi nteraction with the authorities on outsourcing to ensure adherence with regulatory guidelines.

Major Responsibilities

  • Management and oversight of the outsourcing operating model; ensure appropriate outsourcing governance structure is maintained and lead transformation required due to regulatory change agenda and regulatory expectations
  • Management and oversight of the Client Service Operations’ outsourcing operating model ensuring effective and evidenced governance of core outsourced processes including daily NAV as required by the authorities
  • Act as an ambassador for State Street at external industry events, increasing the prominence of the State Street brand
  • Ensure that the group complies with regulations and internal policies and escalation procedures are followed
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders including other business lines and corporate functions and external stakeholders such as clients, industry bodies and regulators
  • Collaborate with the Recovery & Resolution Planning (RRP) team to ensure the regulatory requirements on outsourcing in regards to RRP are met
  • Report regularly to corporate and regional committees, either directly or through delegate

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent industry recognized qualification
  • Many years of relevant experience in Financial Services operations and risk and controls disciplines
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of controls frameworks and how to execute them
  • Sound knowledge of the EMEA regulatory environment and how it relates to Financial Services and State Street in specific
  • Fluency in English, German knowledge beneficial
  • Proven leadership, teamwork and communication skills
  • Experience of influencing others in order to move toward a common goal
  • Forward looking with a holistic approach
  • Confident and decisive, able to operate with a strong level of autonomy, but also able to appropriately judge required escalation and communication
  • Proven ability to collaborate and drive execution at all levels within the organisation
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced and regionally diverse environment
