For the department Sales & Business Development  in our company State Street Global Exchange (Europe) GmbH in Frankfurt we are looking for a Global Exchange Sales & Business Development Manager (m/f) – Job ID R-568867.

Major Responsibilities

  • Joining the EMEA business development team responsible for representing a suite of Data Management, Investment Analytics, Software and Regulatory Solutions and Professional Service offerings to potential and existing State Street clients
  • Using a solutions-oriented approach, working with clients and prospects to ascertain their needs and offer targeted solutions to meet those needs 
  • Developing and maintaining industry network with access to key decision makers
  • Developing and maintaining internal relationships to create and execute client and sector-specific sales strategies            
  • Managing the entire cycle of the sales process including involvement of Pre-sales and Customer Services as well as contract and commercial negotiations in German and English
  • Understanding the competitive landscape, identifying product opportunities as well as client needs and translating them to the product teams
  • Developing a strong pipeline and achieving agreed sales targets
  • Represent State Street at industry events and conferences

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in finance, business or economics
  • Experience in selling solutions into financial industry, in particular into Asset Management, Asset Owner or Insurance sectors
  • Proven consultative selling experience and ability to build and maintain successful client relationships
  • Track record in achieving sales / revenue targets
  • Very strong MS Office knowledge, Salesforce knowledge beneficial
  • Proficiency in German and English, other European languages beneficial
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and organizational skills
  • Proactive, driven and highly motivated team player 
  • Strong analytical and solid time management skills, ability to prioritize
  • Confidence in contractual negotiations of both  professional and commercial terms
  • Willingness to travel within assigned territory
