Job Description

Major responsibilities

  • Support proper measurement, monitoring, oversight and reporting around: Market Risk including Interest Rate Risk and Credit Spread Risk
  • Monitoring of the bank’s Risk Appetite
  • Providing challenge and input for the Bank’s Recovery and Resolution Plans
  • Support ongoing enhancements of the Global Treasury Risk Management process and support the internal capital adequacy assessment process (ICAAP) by providing input and challenge, especially focusing to further improve existing models to proactively align with industry best practices
  • Support the treasury risk input and coordination into regulatory requirements (e.g. ECB stress testing)
  • Collaborating with other risk management teams and support groups,
  • Report and assess the impact of emerging local regulations regarding treasury risks
  • Measuring and monitoring complex balance sheet, and interest rate risk issues
  • Analyzing complex structured securities to understand the inherent risks and quantify sensitivities to modeling assumptions
  • Conducting in-depth studies to understand the internal and market conditions impacting risk metrics
  • Ability to learn new concepts and become a subject matter expert on various balance sheet and asset/liability management matters

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Banking, Economics, Statistics or related field
  • Several  years of experience in financial institutions, preferably in ALM/Treasury
  • CFA or CFA candidate a benefit
  • Strong quantitative, statistical aptitude/skills, with a focus on data analytics
  • Strong PC skills, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, QRM knowledge a benefit
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Mathematics
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills, especially in English (fluency)
