Job Description

Major responsibilities

  • Developing models to analyze balance sheet strategies and assumption sensitivities
  • Preparing and presenting analytics supporting strategic decisions
  • Monitoring various balance sheets of the company and providing context for changes to management
  • Analyzing complex balance sheet and interest rate risk issues
  • Analyzing complex structured securities to understand the inherent risks and quantify sensitivities to modeling assumptions
  • Providing guidance on Asset Liability Management issues to Global Treasury, Finance and the company
  • Conducting in-depth studies to understand the internal and market conditions impacting financial results
  • Providing strategic support to senior managers regarding financial and business opportunities and decisions

Qualifications

Education, Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Business, Banking, Economics, Statistics or a related field
  • CFA or CFA candidate beneficial
  • Some experience in financial institutions, preferably in Asset Liability Management / Treasury
  • Strong quantitative, statistical aptitude skills, with a focus on data analytics
  • Knowledge of Fixed Income Mathematics
  • Strong IT skills, including MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, QRM knowledge is a plus
  • Strong communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Fluency in English (fluency), German beneficial
  • Interest and ability to learn new concepts and become a subject matter expert on various balance sheet and asset/liability management matters
