For the department Global Human Resources / Total Rewards in our company State Street Bank International GmbH in Frankfurt (Solmsstrasse) we are looking for a Compensation Consultant (m/f) – Job ID R-571267.

Major Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive support on all aspects of EU remuneration regulation
  • Review and provide support on the impact of evolving regulatory requirements (e.g. EBA’s guidelines on remuneration under CRD IV)
  • Interpret, analyse, develop, implement, execute, and document all regulatory remuneration requirements for several legal entities
  • Support EU Identified Staff (EUIS) processes by managing inputs, preparing technical materials for senior stakeholders and communications for impacted individuals
  • Provide support to the Remuneration Committee including ownership of agendas, scheduling meetings, coordinating inputs and preparation/review of materials in close cooperation with appointed Remuneration Officer
  • Focus on Risk Excellence and support the proactive and effective management of remuneration risk by the first line of defence
  • Ensure timely update and approval of relevant remuneration policy documents, regulatory reporting and remuneration disclosures; look to achieve consistencies and standardise where possible
  • Lead or support ad-hoc projects and provide support to wider EMEA Total Rewards team as required
  • Primary point of contact for external and regulatory audit of remuneration for the covered legal entities; responsible for Global Human Resources input into the regular audit routine
  • Expected to put forward ideas and suggestions to improve policies, processes and procedures

Education, Experience and Skills

  • Successfully completed Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree
  • Proven track record in reward within a fast-paced, international, financial services or consultancy organisation
  • In-depth knowledge of EU banking and asset management remuneration regulation
  • High expertise in applying the German Remuneration Code and German Banking Act
  • Solid understanding of co-determination and German corporate and supervisory law
  • Experience of stakeholder management
  • Proficient knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in German and English
  • Proactive and highly motivated team-player with strong analytical skills
  • Commercial thinker and strong multi-tasker
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills; ability to work independently
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong focus on client service delivery and relationship management, both internal and external
