  • Perform financial, operational, compliance and strategic audits, including development of audits plans, execution of internal controls testing, identification of risk and communication of audit findings
  • Identify discrepancies, weaknesses, regulatory or risk issues
  • Report directly to the executive board & the CEO
  • Prepare corresponding reports, suggesting corrective actions or value-added recommendations. Present complex and sensitive issues to senior management
  • Maintain and cultivate a master inventory of our businesses policies, practices and processes
  • Plan internal client meetings and oversee financial disclosures
  • Create and update internal audit plans


  • Master degree in accounting, finance, economics, banking or comparable qualification
  • 5+ years of professional experience in an audit function at a bank, financial institution or consulting firm
  • Very good knowledge of audit procedures, including planning, audit techniques, test and sampling methods involved in conducting audits
  • Analytical skills, proactivity, strong sense of ownership and accountability with excellent communicational skills
  • Knowledge of European and local banking regulations is a plus
  • Fluent in English and German
